Chennai, March 15, 2026 — The Tamil Nadu unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has announced new organizational appointments aimed at strengthening the student wing across the state. The announcement was officially made by NSUI Tamil Nadu State President M. Chinnathambi, along with Abdul Salam.
According to the statement, the appointments were made to enhance the organization’s activities and improve coordination among student leaders in different parts of Tamil Nadu. The move is expected to further strengthen the NSUI’s role in addressing student issues and expanding its presence in educational institutions.
As per the announcement, Seyyathu Munavar has been appointed as State Vice President President, while Muhammad Mujtaba and A. Ferin have been appointed as State Coordinators.
Speaking about the appointments, Chinnathambi stated that the newly appointed leaders are committed individuals who have been actively working for student welfare and organizational growth. He expressed confidence that their efforts will help strengthen the NSUI movement in Tamil Nadu.
Abdul Salam also welcomed the appointments and said that the leadership will continue to work collectively to promote student rights, educational opportunities, and social responsibility among youth.
The NSUI leadership reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong and active student movement dedicated to the progress of students and society.
